Bert, calm down. You are welcome to your opinions. I agree that many Christian nations no longer hold to their Christian faith. And they will ripen in iniquity if they do not repent.

However, it isn't an all or nothing when it comes to true and good teachings. God loves those who live a terrestrial lifestyle. He considers them friends, and will give them a great blessing in the next life, according to D&C 76,

Let me help you out here. Jesus said let your communication be yea yea or nay nay anything more than this is of the devil.

In other words whatever does not come from the Spirit comes from the EGO whom God also calls darkness.

Now you can answer for yourself the origin of your communication.

I'm surprised people look at everything with so much black and white. What Christ taught the Jews just means we should speak the truth. That said, as humans we do not always know what the truth is! So there are many gray areas. For this reason, the Lord established several levels of heaven, for those satisfied with lesser levels of truth.

While we in the Church need to proclaim the "fullness of the gospel", we need to be aware that "fullness" does not equate to absolute knowledge of all truth and light.

I don't think you answered my question. The verse condemns any other gospel after the New Testament. Wouldn't that be the Book of Mormon?

This is saying any "other" gospel, meaning salvation in any other way.

Have you ever wondered why people would shun MORE of the same word? WHat if GOd spoke to others in different places, and they wrote it down. What is wrong with another witness of the same truths?

If you're saying the Book of Mormon teaches something different than the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that would be a different discussion. But, it claims to be a Another Testament of JEsus CHrist, not a Testament of Another Jesus Christ.

We don't teach a different testament or gospel, but the gospel or testament we teach is different than the way most Christians understand the Gospel.

Which is not another gospel......the next verse is part of the first...

"The other Gospel which is not another GOspel."

Galatians 1:6 -7 - I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: - Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

There is the gospel of repentance and the gospel of perfection...in Hebrews chapter 6 they are urged to move on unto perfection while leaven the gospel of repentance behind. Once remission is given...works of and ordinances dealing with repentance is dealing with dead works.

Hebrews 6:1 - THEREFORE leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Also ......And one cannot use the doctrines that belongs to the gospel of perfection to circumvent the gospel of repentance.

Many who were led by the Spirit to do works on the Sabbath and these were justified by the Spirit...and yet were compelled to do repentance by others who had no understanding of the gospel of perfection which is only given to them who walk by the Spirit

The other gospel which is not another gospel is referenced to the gospel of repentance by them who have moved on unto perfection. The Christians today have done the opposite instead of dragging those who are in the gospel of perfection into the gospel of repentance...they have done away with the gospel of repentance by adopting teachings that belong to the gospel of perfection.

There were two trees in the garden and men cannot eat from both. They will either forego the tree of knowledge of good and evil or they will not be able to eat from the tree of life.

There is a gospel for each tree. When Adam and Eve brought the fall by eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil...they were cut off from the tree of life.

To reach the tree of life one will have to cease to judge what is good and evil by our own knowledge of good and evil and wait for the judgment of GOD who is the one that really knows what is good and evil.

Until then we are not able to love as GOD love and so we are cut off from the tree of life and we all die except for a few. The gospel of repentance is to bring to the point where we can love as GOD Loves and then we can eat from the tree of life...or if you will drink the Everlasting waters of life.

WE pervert the gospel of Christ when we try to use doctrines that belongs to the gospel of perfection to circumvent the gospel of repentance.

for example no man is saved by faith alone,,,no....not even the devil who have faith in Christ. IF these who have faith in GOD are cast into the outer darkness... so will sinners who profess their faith by words and have gone to the grave while still not repented. Torments await all who do not first repent in this world.
