john doe Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 Me too. I haven't been able to watch it for a while, but I heard what's his name has been on more. Michael's vulgar friend. I can't stand that guy.Packer was on one recent episode, I don't think he'll be a regular. Will Farrell will be taking over as boss in two weeks, and I'm interested in how he does. Quote

john doe Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 I think John Doe's comment not to take it so personally may have merit, however the foot-kicking was startling to me. Not sure what to do -- I think I should read the book on conversations, however. So act interested during boring meetings. If there is a discussion, contribute to it. Be engaged, and engaging. Sometimes you have to pretend you're having a good time and that it's interesting. Go take courses on how to improve your personality and relationships with those around you. CEOs are people too. They have their ups and downs, and sometimes look at people differently depending on their mood, not based in how a person does their job. It's okay. Not every employee pleases the boss every minute of every day. But if you're competent, do a good job, and earn praise from your superiors, chances are he knows how valuable you are. Unless your bosses are tossing you under the bus, in which case you will soon be out of a job. But who wants to work for people like that anyway? Quote
