Hey everyone, I'm Aria from the UK.

A little bit about me - well, I did not grow up in a Christian household. My family are not religious in any sense. For me, I have always known that there is something greater than us out there, but it has taken me forever to feel comfortable with my faith - even so, I have still not found the right 'church' for me. I have looked into many - Anglican, Protestant, Catholic, Methodist, Unitarian - but, I still have not found something that settles my soul.

I first heard about the Church of Latter day Saints when I was 15, and I studied it at school. Since then, it has always meant something to me, but even though I looked into it a hundred times, I never took it further because I was afraid of going into something by myself - by that I mean no friends, or family knew anything about the church.

Now, eleven years later, I still look into the church and want to know more. It still brings up he same feelings, and I just hope this time I look into it further and make some big changes in my life. I have been going to a Pentecostal church lately - I love it, but it doesn't give me the peace I know the right place will.

So, that leads me to today. Earlier some Jehovah's Witnesses knocked on my door, and as I was thinking about them I am sure God directed me to this website.

Sorry, about the long into - and if you actually read it then thanks!

I hope to stay around here, have my questions answered, have new things to think about, make new friends, and hopefully take my next step into what God wants me to :)

Aria,

Welcome. I'm glad you have an inquiring heart and mind. Don't be afraid to attend a meeting or two with the LDS. You can find your local meeting house and Church times at this link:

Worship with Us | Mormon.org

The feelings you continually have felt over the last 11 years is the Holy Spirit of the Lord, gently guiding you to the greatest good. Don't be afraid. You will be surprised at how quickly you will make friends in the LDS Church. They are quite friendly, and in visiting with them, you will have the opportunity to learn and feel more of the Spirit that has guided you here.

We're glad you are on our website here. We always welcome new friends. I hope you enjoy the time you spend with us.
