Over43 Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 I watched Emilio Esteves' The Way Sunday evening. I have to be quite frank and admit it was a beautiful movie. Martin Sheen was fantastic as the caustic father who loses his son, the other characters were believeable and it was quite moving. The scene where Sheen and actress Deborah Kara Unger finally discover why each of them is on the trek is worth the movie itself. The classic part is when the Gypsie father tells Martin Sheen (after the Gypsie's son steals Martin Sheen's backpack) "Our children are the best of us, and the worst of us..." was great. I give this two thumbs up, and there is only one of me. Quote
