JimmiGerman Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 Or should I say a new bee? Doesn't matter, both fly. Yes, I'm JimmiGerman and simply want to introduce myself here. Amazing forums, everlasting truths. One can only lose by not joining these forums. Thank God for giving me the ability of speaking a bit American... but I'm a nuthead in mathematics... :) Quote

Sorry for my mistake. A parrot is not a parakeet. I've viewed the avatar more exactly. In German we call it a "Sittich". They are okay, as at least they don't speak in a human voice, they don't scare anyone, and they don't bring anyone into a compromising situation, and they can't call the police (there once was a parrot here that was able to cry for help, words he'd learned from a movie). Parrots can bring you in big trouble. As you are the Head Parakeet around here, and I'm only a little black feathered, helpless birdy, I should be glad to have you as a friend protecting me from other big birds. :)PS A girl friend of mine once had a white female cockatiel. When she let him out of the cage it immediately flew in direction to her and sat down on her shoulder. And she was also having two little budgies that were a bit terrorizing the cockatiel (went into its cage, pecking up its food etc., even if the cockatiel was bigger. Later she gave it to a woman who already had a male cockatiel, so both of them were no longer alone. Edited February 24, 2013 by JimmiGerman Quote
