Fiannan Posted August 25, 2007 Author Report Posted August 25, 2007 I too thought it was condescending. In fact, I found it infuriating. Information is always a good thing, and should never be withheld. It is ridiculous for NOW to think that young women are too stupid to be given this information and still make good choices in their lives.Fiannian, I’m surprised you didn’t pick up on this one. You would have gotten a chance to criticize NOW, and I would have agreed with you. And Palerider would have put his fist through the wall again!Careful, the more times goes on the more it appears we aren't all that much at the opposite of the spectrum. Quote

Hey Fiann, Believe it or not, I'm as honest as I know how to be. I support NOW completely, but there have been a few times when it does some really stupid things, just like we all do, and I get a little hot about it just like you've seen me get here once in a while. I'm not going to blindly support NOW when it does something stupid. And THIS was something stupid. Ask Palerider. He supposedly has a hole in his wall because of it.I thought that article you posted was excellent. I hope everyone here reads it.Elphaba Quote
pushka Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 Just one or two websites pertaining to the claim that pregnancy can cure endometriosis...I googled 'endometriosis cured by pregnancy'http://www.endometriosistreatment.org/html/question8.htmlhttp://www.endo.bc.ca/endometriosisafterpregnancy.phphttp://betterhealth.vic.gov.au/bhcv2/bhcar...ns?OpenDocumentThe following website states that fooling the body into believing it's pregnant can cure endometriosis...that is by giving progesterone, which is what I am doing...but it doesn't mean that just by having been pregnant the woman will be cured without having to take the tablets:http://www.endo101.com/In fact, I think this line from the search page on Google says it all!'Did you mean: endometriosis caused by pregnancy'!!!
