josafisch Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 Fellow Saints,Ok so here's the deal...My wife and I moved out of Salt Lake City in August. In the process of moving we (like most people do) gave quite a bit of old stuff to DI. One of the things we gave was a small 3ft pre-lit Christmas Tree. We didn't need it any longer and thought someone could use it to brighten their own home. Now we arrive at the problem...Tonight my wife and I were unpacking our all our Christmas stuff and to our horror we realized we couldn't find some things that were very important to us, our Christmas Stockings, and I know they were in that box with the tree. Now I know stockings don't sound like they're that important but these had great sentimental value. Both were hand-made by my mother. Mine around 1984 for my 2nd Christmas and my wife's around 2005 when she joined my family. They both have our names on them; Adrianne on my wife's and Joe on mine. They have the years on them, Mine has 1984 on it and my wife's has 2005 on it. Both were made in the needle point style. We took the tree to the DI in Salt Lake City at Welfare Square around the beginning of August of this year.If anyone out there has them or has seen them or even knows someone that might have or does shop at this DI please help. I have a good feeling that these item can be returned to us through our faithfulness and prayers and with a little help from the fear that comes with the thought of telling my mother we gave them away. I can provide pictures of them if anyone needs them. You can contact me if you have any leads at the following e-mail address: [email protected]Thank you all for you time and your help. Sincerely hoping for a Christmas Miracle,Joe Fisch Quote

If they print your story, you would have thousands of people keeping an eye out for the stockings. Quote
