I was listening to a lecture on tape (Hx of Western Civilation) and learned about the Punic Wars, Cato the Elder and Carthago Delenda Est. You told me once but is that where your old signature line came from?

This was actually the third time I heard about the Punic wars. I've heard lectures of the Hx of the Roman Empire, Hx of Freedom and the Hx of Western Civilization. There is just way too much information to know in the world. It's kind of nice now because when I read or hear about Cato or Pliny the Younger or Macedonia... I go, oh yeah, that's where it fits in.

Too much to know.
