11 Beautiful and Diverse Depictions of Heavenly Mother

In 1920, Joseph Smith’s teachings revealed that “the divine Mother, [is] side by side with the divine Father.” Helping us to understand that we do in fact have a Heavenly Mother.

The new Young Women Theme says, “I am a beloved daughter of heavenly parents with a divine nature and destiny.” This change emphasizes the importance of our heavenly parents as a divine unit.

This is not the only place where they are referred to as a unit of Heavenly Parents. In fact, The Family: a Proclamation to the World states, “Each [human being] is a beloved spirit son or daughter of heavenly parents.”
