Mormon Flash Mob Shares Christmas Message in Montreal Mall

On December 6, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints formed a flash mob at the Complexe Dejardins, a shopping mall in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The members hoped their musical talents would help share the true meaning of Christmas. Marie-Frédérique Carter, the event organizer, said,

We wanted to send a special Christmas message of goodwill to the people of our beautiful city!

Marianne Lambert, a renowned opera singer in Quebec and Latter-day Saint also joined the group for the performance and led the singers in “Angels We Have Heard on High,” “The First Noel,” “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” and other Christmas carols.

Many people stopped to watch and listen to the group of 230 singers. One couple-who had just come from watching The Book of Mormon musical across the street- even stopped to thank one of the organizers of the the flash mob for the beautiful Christmas music.
