  1. Use the meetinghouse locator at lds.org to find out the ward you would be assigned to. You can go see that Bishop and he can request your records from Church Headquarters. He would just need a few small items of information to obtain it.
  2. Public officials such as fire department, building inspectors, code enforcement officers, police department personal etc. are all given access to the temples as required by local laws. I am in a position with my company that I do work in the temples on a regular bassis. Sometimes if a repariman or technician with a recommend can't be found they will use someone qualified with no recommend. Those with no recommends who must enter are escorted at all times by temple staff. This would also apply to EMT's if they must go into the temple where a person was in need of help. The room would also be cleared of anyone who was in the process of a session or sealing and be relocated to another empty room to continue.
  3. It's over finally. I have never felt such an outpouring of love in my entire life. The concern and the actions of the members of the High Council were beyond description. All I can say it that if there is something about a church action that is bothering you, go and take care of it. This was such a positive experience, one that I will never forget. I look forward to the next year where I can show that I am truly worthy of full fellowship again.
  4. Well I'm not super-old yet. I'll try to not die. I know the Lord can't be rushed. That is not my intent. I am only doing my part so that the healing may begin. Thanks
  5. Well it has now been put off until Thursday the 27th. Unable to get everyone together. However, the Stake President did give me a blessing and gave me several things to read. You were all right. Only the spirit of love has been shown toward me in this most difficult of times. I am now looking forward to doing what I must do to regain my full fellowship in the Church. Although I do know that at this point the result will be excommunication or disfellowshipment, it will only be imposed as a way that I can break free of my past sins.
  6. Again, not a husband/wife issue. I went to my bishop. He would never have known otherwise. I started the entire mess no one else.
  7. I am sorry I have started an argument or a problem here. If the director or whoever is in charge could just delete the thread that would be great.
  8. No Michael, not a marital issue. I am divorced, have been for three years. Hey I knew the rules. I was the one who looked the other way and didn't keep the commandments. I can't expect them to look the other way. There was no crime here from a civil standpoint so there is nothing I can repay or restore. I suppose the love aspect is they love me enough to make sure I have a second chance to make it to the CK.
  9. I'm doing what my Bishop has asked me to do. My situation is one where no restitution is possible. No marriage was broken up. I am so lost as to how to show my sincere efforts to do what's right. So far it is only superficial with no real way to show how sorry I am. I am hoping for the best but am expecting the worst.
  10. Thanks for the help. There is really nothing to argue. I am the one who went to the bishop. There are no witnesses to be had, and nothing to defend. What's done is done. All I can say it this happens when you take your eye off the goal.
  11. I will be going to a Church court this Sunday. Can anyone tell me what to expect?
