There is a non-denominational church nearby my house that I have been curious about for years. Today I stopped in for a visit. It was a very casual atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and I met quite a few of them. As services got started I was really looking forward to feeling something good. But it felt like something was missing. Like it was just a group of people hanging out talking about the bible. Not that there is anything wrong with that and I fully appreciate anybody that makes an effort to learn about Heavenly Father. It just made me wish I had gone to my wards sacrament meeting. I have been struggling with my testimony lately and this experience today really helped.

This reminds me of a bird a roomate of mine had. It would sing the first part of "pop goes the weasle" and not finish the song. Over and over. Very annoying. Maybe you should try it.

She must have seen this post. I came home from work today to find that she had done a lot of picking up around the house. We talked about how much nicer it is to relax in a clean house. I also told her that I was going to do something to make our home better each day. Hopefully she follows my lead and we can turn this into a habit.

Looking at the title it does sound a little condesending even though that is really not what I intended. To be more clear she is a clutterer. Every room has a pile of her stuff in it. We are newly married but have been together for over seven years. This is something that built up over time. We have never set roles or set any agreed plan into action. Looking at things now I can see that never having a plan is a big problem. I think we need to sit down and figure out a plan and get everything out in the open.

I don't want to sound mean but my wife is a slob and I can't take it anymore. I try to be a leader and take initiative on the household chores but it doesn't last. She was out of town the last time I had vacation I stayed home and cleaned the house top to bottom and panited the downstairs. Within a week it was all messed up again. She leaves messes and doesn't clean up after herself. Over time it builds up and I can't keep up. It is at the point that I don't want people to come over because I am embaresed. I try to talk to here but she either gets defensive or she pretends to listen but doesn't change. Any suggestions?

In verses 15 and 16 it says that if a man marry him a wife in the world their marriage and covenant is not in force when the are dead. Then when they are out of the world they neither marry nor given in marriage; but are appointed angels in heaven. Does this mean that if my wife (who is not a member) and I are not sealed in the temple we will never have a chance to know the full glory and will be angels because we did not abide in His law?

Speaking of Pandora. I created Kings of Leon station and have been hearing some good stuff. Nothing that is gonna put me to sleep and nothing that makes me feel like I'm being yelled at.

I have been into everything from punk to country and am looking for some new music to listen to. These day I am growing tierd of what I used to listen to and am not really into what I hear on the radio. I think it would be interesting to find out what people here listen to. So whatcha got?

I have been completely off of caffeine for a week and two days. Having gone cold turkey I only had headaches for about four days and some irratability in the first week. There was some slight tiredness and I have been falling asleep about an hour earlier than normal too. No problem, I like to sleep more! Substituting a glass of orange juice for coffee and that gave me the energy I needed to get my day started. After drinking coffee every morning for years and drinking as much caffeine as I wanted I am suprised how easy it was. Thank you to everyone who posted advice!

I am on my third day of going cold turkey. No problem. I have a slight headache but a couple of ibuprofin is enough to take care of it. It has been a lot easier than I thouht it would be. I'm glad I did it and am looking forward to the benefits of being caffeine free.

Could it be that people who commit these crimes are sick and would commit crimes even if they didn't have media and a ratings system to blame?

Went cold turkey today. I have had a headache all day that I can't get rid of but otherwise ok. Good thing I did this on a three day weekend. Does andyone know how long the headaches last? I hope they are gone by Monday.
