The only thing you can do with a drug addict is run as far away from them as you can. Every thing they do centers around that drug. That includes what you have. Anyone else becomes second. A far second. People try to compare it to food. Way different. Drugs are a time in heaven. Snow is somewhat harsh, but it is a harsh world and it is getting worse. It is up to the addict. You cant change them and they will bring you down with their ship. Drugs also lead to other abuses of every kind. How do you know he wasnt abuseing his wife or children in some way. She was wise to leave. Most addicts are screwed. I have to say I agree with snow on every count in this matter. The person he started off being and the person he ended up being are 2 different people. And dont get mad. you brought this conversation to the board. I feel more for his family than him. He didnt die from his physical pain he died from his addiction. That is part of the reason we are here (pain and suffering). Pain killers, medication, anti dep. only delay problems. It is amazeing that anyone survived 100 years ago?

pushka, I am real glad you have atheist friends, but dont tell me about how the criminal mind works. And you dont know what your friends would do, or what they may already be doing. Most of your criminals dont believe in christ until they go to jail. And most of those carry a bible in front of them to hide behind. Even they arent true believers in christ. Anyone can put on a good show. Your athiest friends may indeed be good people, but what if the right oppurtunity arises. And remember that your friends are still influenced by a christian society and are controled with the fear of the local law. A christian society is much better than the societies that dont believe in christ. History and the culture of the world tells you that. On a larger scale christian societies do better. I am not talking just on a person by person level. and if you think a person can be just as good without christ as one that is with him, then you are sadly mistaken my friend. I have lost most of my friends to jail, or death. Half of my family is messed up with their hatred towards christ. I used to think like you. And I am serious when I say that "I was wrong". The disbelief in christ will lead to all of the things you said. I have seen it. You can laugh all you want. I have seen it. I promise that I have seen it. I have seen a lot of bad things. I have been a part of a lot of bad things. And if you dont believe any of it, then you are on a fools road. And dont even respond back saying that you have experience with these types of people, because I wont believe you. I can tell the people that have and havent had to deal with these types of people. And you havent. I have lived in crack hoods, trailer parks, and drug infested communities all of my life. I dont feel the belief in christ in these areas. There is a silence or a hatred towards god in these areas, but they put on a good show. I dont want anything to do with athiests, drug addicts, or criminals, or mask christians. And if there is any good in them, you better believe it is the light of christ, but it does leave them slowly and it will drain you too. And satan hides in the cloud of atheism. If you dont agree then you must live a very safe life. And if you think all is well then your attitude is as laughable as my spelling.

Women have discovered what men have been hiding for centuries. Man is the weaker sex by nature. Employers would rather hire women than men. I believe we are seeing the beginning stages of a dieng breed of man. Men no longer have to be responsible for children, or provideing for a family. The women's ability to make money in many cases exceeds our own. Our economy provide many jobs for paperwork, money management etc. The TV depicts the man as being money hungry, power driven, and stupid women hateing racist. More especially the white male. This leaves the man demasculinised. I did'nt know I was all of those things? At any rate. Men are getting more and more confused. With no backbone and no sence of who they are, and what they do. And what does a women need with a man these days. They hunt better than we do. Why deal with all of the problems that a man brings. And men figure that they are worthless and the only thing we need are a few miller lights and female companionship for 3 days a week. Trust me, you dont have to work for a women's attention these days. What happens to these men? They wonder the world confused and angry. Worthless. Maybe they become criminals. Maybe secretly they do start to hate women,children, and eachother. Is this what the prophets warned us about, back in the day? Will a good man be worth his wieght in gold in the last days? Are women there to help direct? I am confused, but I think I am right on this one.

I think it is funny that man is still trying to reason, or down play Christ's role. Our reasoning always changes. A couple of years ago the anti-christs accepted him as a good teacher, and now he is crazy? Our reasoning stinks. But if there was no christ and it is all horse manure. And if god does'nt exist and there is no after life, then we dont have to be responsible for anything. We can do what ever we want. If this way of thinking spreads, then it is going to be a rough world. These people clearly dont know what they are getting into. A world without christ. A world full of selfish killers and criminals of every kind. Everyone laughs right now. Because you are safe in your homes. You can talk about him not existing. But when the people without christ trample threw your yard and break down your weak door and come to get whatever you have. Then you will sit down and wonder what is going on. You wont be able to reason your way threw that one. I have been to jail, I have been surrounded by people without christ. I may have even been a bad person myself. Trust me, it is all kinds of bad you dont want to get into. Imagine waking up with 4 250pnd men without christ standing over your bed while you sleep in your safe room with your safe security. I wonder who these victims will pray to in the end. Times that by 100 and you would still not have a clue on what creatures lurk at night. Of the 2 legged kind. And you would be surprised and how many things get covered up, so it doesnt cause panic. And a lot of crime doesnt get reported. You should here what some of these criminals have done before they got caught. But everyone can keep saying there is no christ. They can laugh at all of the religious idiots in secret. Your safe. HAHAHA

You talk about being parinoid? You go to far. And what is "normal". Most mormons are'nt jerks either, but I kind of am. Everyone is different. Everyone has their own ways. I dont think many people in the church get in to this subject. Not because it is sacred, but because they dont know. The leaders havent come out and discussed this lately. Some LDS take it to far. The church preaches mainly serveing your fellow man. As for createing other worlds, yes god does it. And it would make sence that he would use other being to help. Otherwise what use would we be.

I think that when the mormons talk about family they mean everyone. Anyone who has ever come to earth and anyone who will. The way I understand it is that you have close ties with your family and friends here. You did before and you will after, but it functions as one big unit. Tasks are preformed in all levels. Very few people will make the celestial kingdom. Most of us will go to the terrestrial (LDS). But if you ask them, most of them will say they are going to the cel. kingdom. And I am sure that people like mother theresa will go to the Cel kingdom. It makes more since than singing on a cloud forever. People actually preform tasks. God creates and he asks us to create. I am not sure about any of this that is just the feeling I get from study.

I think that you are talking about the different degrees of the celestial kingdom. Exahltation is reserved for the ones with breading right (creation). And some just reach the administering angels part ( the lowest part) of the Cel. kingdom. Do you know what the middle part is?

Jason is basically right. He has some anger issues, but he is right. edited by moderator And they will make fun of you if you discuss it with them, but I find that most people are drawn to the truth, even if they are makeing fun of you to look cool. Jason probably thinks he is cool. This life is to discover if you are fake or not. Jason put on a good show in the pre-life. He has included himself in the building (Nephi's dream). He probably put on a good show here. He may have even served a mission. But the devil discovers us all. I would not take to much council from jason. You may find that jason is 10 times more dangerous than the ones that are making fun of you.
