It's just been on my mind. Yes I know the holy ghost is a personage of spirit, but our intelligence without a spirit body is also in the form of a personage. just because the foot note says spirit body doesn't mean what it says lol. I don't think the holy ghost possesing our physical bodies is the way it works.... when I think about it it's just not right you know that feeling? I'm probably the one who is wrong though. I don't know what else to say. The egyptians call the holy Ghost the invisable spirit, only manifested with the sighn of the dove. We have enough proof in the scriptures that Christ has a body of flesh and bones, why don't we know more about the holy ghost. Ya in primary we were taught that the holy ghost would be the very last one to recieve a body.... Doesn't sit well with me sorry. Any ways could anyone here accept that fact that maybe just maybe the holy Ghost is a Personage of Spirit but is not a spiritually begonnton son of God... he'd be on the same playing field as Christ because he's perfect right? What if and this is just mormon science fiction here... What if the holy Ghost of the Plan of Salvation Previous to this one. Yes I'm saying there is one before this one. So this is the same plan that has been carried out for eternities... Plural. The holy ghost of the last plan is the Christ in this plan of Salvation, and the Holy Ghost of this plan of salvation is the Christ in the next plan of salvation. Of course only if the Holy Ghost is an intelligence would this be possible... and it's probably not lol

So I was sitting here the other day, condemplating inteligences and spirit bodies and such when something poped into my head. I as a physical person cannot dwell inside of a physical person, uless you want to go Indiana Jones on someone. Common sence, well a Spirit body can not dwell inside a spirit body as well right. Acording to what I understand, which isn't much, As a spirit body I could still put my arm around my wife, or shake another spirit's hand.... That beings said I can't imagine The Holy Ghost dwelling inside someone having a spirit body. I therefore began to think that the Holy Ghost as a member of the God head must be an inteligence without a spirit body. For an intelligence can dwell in side of a spirit body. Is there any Doctrine, SOLID doctrine that the holy ghost is a Begotton Son of GOD in the spirit? Or that he will someday recieve a body?

I actually heard this quote in primary once... It still applies and makes good sense but I feel that since we are all adults here we can put off childish things and be serious. Think of the knowledge you possess as water in a dam... in order to understand and convey doctrine, testimony, it helps if the Spirit has knowledge to draw on. You must have a dam of knowledge in order to have enough pressure to shoot out a perfect stream of understanding and doctrine... Seek to obtain the word... Seek knowledge out of the best books, study learn, grow, that is what we are commanded to do.

Yes ... but on the same playing field you wouldn't be able to recieve those covenants without history going exackly the way that God intended every little detail to occur. Talk is cheap, but true sincere study and desire to learn and accept everything from the beginning, all 20+ volumes, brings what I feel a greater understanding to everything. Yes you are right obedience is key, it's just easier and ,'cooler feeling', to be obedient when you are on high ground because of the knowlede and understanding that everything gives you.

I disagree! Studying to comprehend how and why everything happens is incredible! Expecially what you can learn! Look at the scroll for instance, go through it scripture by scripture and then go through the Justinian Scroll on the website, and don't tell me you don't get excited! Yes the small and simple things bring understanding and light, but the larger more complex scale is really something to behold! Maybe it's just me but they wrote about the things that they saw! And every single one has happened and history is detailed enough now that we can know what they are and we can understand when other things are going to happen!

I read the entire Book of Enoch it's awesome! Nibley did some cool stuff with his book called Enoch the Prophet... You know who has some pretty cool answers for the Giants.. JWs they claim to know it all you should ask them.

Would you change anything if you knew the year? What do you think would happen if we were told the year from the prophet (Not likley to happen) P.S. I think the prophet knows all of the events and has seen enough to know that we are pretty darn close. I have heard of those talking about the times ahead say that we are in the transition time between the sixth and seventh seals. It would not then be to much to say that we might be in the half hour of silence. We might be closer. My institute teacher thinks decades, Others think more, I think Less. We certainly can say that we don't know. Leading us to justifiably say that we can not criticize those who are striving to read the signs and prepare. For if we had a hundred people in a room and asked them all the pick a year of the second coming I would bet that someone would be pretty close.

I am new to this whole Posting on a Forum thing but was told to come here by a friend. I have always been curious about the dispensations of Time, and the seals of time in the revelations. My question is, if the prophet knew the millenium was coming say he knew the year, (no man can know the day nor the hour but a man might be able to know the Month or Year maybe). Would he tell the church, if yes how would he say it? And if No what would they say in order to prepare us without telling us.
