Well i know some do take it for granted........I grew up in Utah and it was all I knew.......Honestly i did not know what free agency really was till 15 years ago when i moved here to Neveda. It was totall culture shock for me........And I really had to learn to adapt, Now i think back i did take it for granted, Things are way different out in the rest of the world than in Utah,

It sounds like your RS president is a loon. Unless she knew the devil worshiping killers or was one of them, how did she know about it? If she knew about the satan-loving murder of an an innocent child, did she tell the police? Why did the press protect the servants of Lucifer? Were they in on it. Are these armies of the dark lord also liberals and anti-Mormons? Did the baby-killers get their flu shots? Seriously, who are these killers and how do you know about it when the police and media do not? ← Well actually Snow were i lived in Utah there was a very big devil warshiping cult, I knew this first had....... It was scary when i was a teenager, There were several people in Utah valley (if you want to know wich city contact me personaly) many i knew from school and from the neighboring town.......this was actually a big news item then, one of the news channels did a big thing on it, Ever heard of Jay's Journal? you may not have if you never lived there but it is well known there,.........It was truley sad this town also had the name of the devil warshiping capital of the world.....I do debate that one though!

That is so cool Marsha!.....It is so great that you could learn so much from the people here, I have been LDS all my life and at times not a very great member, it is so nice to be able to come here and talk, I have meet some great friends here, and appreciate this site very much!

Hey i seen you resort to personal attacks.....One the post for please you called some one a moron.....and i replyed to you how that word is used aginst me by other relgions in my town...using it as another word for momon to me........Sooooooooo not Christlike!! ← ________________________In the short time I've been in this forum, I have been called a whole lot worse than a moron! Ari, or whoever you are as there are 4 of you posting with the same IP address, If there is anything that I have posted that is false, a little less insipid one-line insults from you and a little more explanation of why or how I am wrong would be in order. Frankly, from what I have seen, you aren't capable of doing much beyond posting one-line retorts and resorting to labels and insults. I find it amazing that some people can be rude but if you try and defend yourself then you hear about it,........I see a few that are rude and some that are vulgar and some that have complained have been very rude to others but yet will call others out on it ....... This is the kind of mindless prattle that is just an embarrassment to our Faith. Someone disagrees with you (even if they are factually correct) and instead of addressing the substance of their posts, you label them with an over-utilized and misunderstood monikers and so think to dismiss them. Don't be dishonest. What I said is that when you go on your binges you post 50 to 70 times a day and most of those posts are comprised are nothing more of endless quote of other posters followed by one line sarcasm or mindless agreements. When you post like that, it ruins the flow of the threads and wastes bandwidth. What purpose does it serve to misstate what I said? What ever Jason! after all this is just our oppions and that is your's and as far as denying them their title......Heck they can have what ever title they want! I am not God i cant say You cant title your self with that name! GEEEEEEESH Big woop! What is wrong with the state people... who live in the state... having decorations ontheir desks that speak of their own preferences???? grief... The state is not a building... it is people... ← The workplace should not be a place for religious displays, it should remain a neutral environment where people of many different cultural backgrounds and religious affinities must brush elbows as they earn their living. Keep your religious decorations AT HOME, where you can freely practice your religion as you see fit. Pray in private, in the bathroom or behind a closed office door, NOT out loud in front of everyone. Why should you object to keeping religious display OUT of the workplace? How is it offensive to ask that your religious observances remain private? I just don't understand? ← BULL.. people spend a lot of their life at their work place... whose the rule maker on this one??? You sound like scrooge... ← When i was working for the school district office, i would make suckers and goodies put the in cute bags and leave them on the desks ........... I found out that one person was Jahova whitness and i felt bad, I told him later i was sorry that i put candy on his desk for halloween....he looked at me and said.."thanks for including me just because i dont celabrate holidays does not mean i dont like home made goodies"...From then on i left holiday goodies for him, but i just put them in a regular plain goodie bag....and he always left me a nice note saying thanks it ment alot, Now i think it depends on how comfortable people of other relgions are in their own skin....If they know because we put up decorations it doesnt mean we are trying to offened them, and this wont change their beliefs then they are less likely to be offended

I was in France and Belgium for nearly two years... and the Catholic processions and routines... and the Jewish celebrations were everywhere to be seen... the food in the stores changed... the atmosphere changed... prayers were being publically demonstrated on the streets as we passed.... I don't see that those who settled this valley... stuff the religion down anyone's throat... that was a very inflamatory statement... and a very pathetic and prejudicial attitude... Patty. ← Thanks Please..thats what i was trying to exspress pretty much........I was way to sleepy when i posted LOL, I knew several plyg's when i lived in Utah...one was a foster child that lived with us........They all (the ones i knew) did not want to be called mormon in any way....although they did believe in the early parts of our church, And don't get me wrong people out there in forum land.......these are good people........just have a way different life style,...........I have baby sat for and had dinner with some of these familys..Yes they are more extrem than most mormons you know .....but they are very dedicated to family...
