I thought i would start a Happy forum....... I was thinking lets make this friday threw Sunday good deeds Days. Then everyone could write in the forum what they want to do and what they did! What do you all think? I don't know of yet what i want to do... Please try it I think it will be fun! Check the poll up above

Well said please! I feel the same way... I spend alot of time with other peoples children ...who needed me, when i was running the kitchen at the school i had kids come in that never had food in the house...never had a nice thing said to them by their Mom Or in alot of cases dad........They always knew they could talk to me...they always knew i had leftovers and could stop by the kitchen if they were hungry, I loved these kids dearly...and to this day when they see me they say thank you, and talk to me Now i do have problems with having 16 kids 1 The health of the mother...what if her heart cant handle somany deliveries and she dies? 2 the time shared with the kids...I know they said that they share time with them but still....not like i could with mine My mom had a friend with that many kids and they were a happy family... But it seems in todays world 16 kids is wayyyyyyy to much, having 4 boys i feel it was right for me...and maybe they feel the same about having 16 kids

Gratitude is so important... focusing on the good things... and not on the bad... a chemical thing happens when we start thinking negatively... I think thanksgiving is one of the most important holidays of the year... it is really our chance to get our focus adjusted for the rest of the year... and the new year coming up.... ← Don't get me wrong i love my family...And i'm very excited to see my oldest son I guess maybe i'm just a little down on how much my family ( Sisters etc.) changed since i have been gone! there used to be so much love and everyone got along so well, One time I told one of my sisters i was very worried about another sister, she is diabetic and she was drinking an auwful lot..we had just lost my younger brother to a drug over dose ( he was ill and was taking to different meds and took to much of one because of the pain) She looked at me and said ( this is no lie) "at least we have another grave in the family plot.....I wont tell you what i said to her! well about a week later i told my other sister how i was concerned about My sister that was drinking...And she repeated" at least we have a another grave in the family plot..." I could tell my 2 sisters both had discused this together.....My heart sank...what happened to my family?

Very Interesting I must say! We do end up trading the symbolisms of religon, for religous freedom.............. Does that make sence? To have religous freedom we cant offend other religons with our own religous beliefs? Did i get that right or am i just up way to late past my bed time? Very Interesting post!

Hmmmm I have felt like that some years... and others I get all giddy and excited and go all out... but I never... never... never travel to go to someone elses' place... I have enjoyed just doing it with an intimate circle of my own here at home.... ← unfortunately I'm the only one that lives out of town But i'd rather go there then them all here So goes the Holiday rat race.......Oh well ← Bummer... LOL maybe you are going to have to have double plans so that you are only at their home for a short quick visit... and then have other places you can spend the rest of the time... ← Well we stay with my parents or i would go nuts!!! And i do find my best buddy from high school and we shop so there is an up side too it

I don't know why they call them pigs....why do they call cops pigs? Funny story We had a dog named piglet.. well we had an officer that lived next door...he also had a drug enforcement dog... well one day i went out to find my dog in the front yard...i did not see her right away....so i started to yell here piggy piggy...here piggy piggy...I did not see the officer in the front yard of his home... he walked over to me and said ....WHAT? LOL It scared me a little... so then i explained to him my dog was named piglet and i was just calling for her.....Well my neighbors on the other side of me were drug dealers and they always left their window in the back room opened when they smoked Pot ( lovely neighborhood i tell ya) anyway the officer asked me if i heard his drug dog barking at night...for some reason about 11pm he always went nuts LOL....I wanted to say maybe the wind is blowing the smell of pot into your yard....but i chickened out ( they got caught a few days later anyway) Well they all moved at some point and now we have better neighbors...a little crazy but better

I guess that puts bush in a catagory... of ummmm ignorant? ← Or just plain............(tried to think of some thing good to say and it didnt come :) )

Well with the up coming holiday.........Thanksgiving, I figure maybe can we ...Just bypass it? and head strait for Christmas? don't get me wrong i like it and all i just don't like the long trip....the crazy arguments with family ( well maybe just mine is that way) The long trip home.............AHHHHHHHHHH it's just that bump in the road Holiday till the really good one, HEYYYY i can give thanks at Christmas....No problem! So what is everyone else doing Thanksgiving?

Ok i can see that ..................Maybe LOL Happiest is my kids of course, The greatest sin to me would be killing thousands in the name of religon............. For It is a sin to think God, Allah or any God figure would be pleased that Innocent people were killed in there names

Yes that does effect me.....I have a real hard time dealing with a few things that has happened recently...It doesnt seem to effect my kids as much for they never watch the news, although we were all watching TV Sep. 11th right when the second plane hit, we thought it was a movie or something... That did effect the kids we had alot of discusions with them about it,

I does not bother me to read a scary book but when they do a movie of it i never get threw it...Mainly because of the goryness of them.....I don't like bloody chain saw slasher stuff UGGGGGGG! I can handle a good thriller though...mainly the guys like guy movies and I don't get to watch them (or i just dont want to) But they don't watch the gross stuff....

Well i'm a Mom of 4 boys and a few extras...I grew up in AF Utah and moved to nevada 14 years ago due to my husbands job...I am a scrapbooking nut! I hate cleaning although i do it alot for a living...i hate cooking and also do it for a living...I tend to be a nonconformist so when i do go to church everyone is a little weary of me.... But yet they still love me I love to have lots of friends and can be to hyper....I'm always the first one people run to when something goes wrong or they need help....i don't tend to judge anyone ...I love people for who they are and not who they aren't...I make friends with about any kid of individual unless they are real creeps and sickos then i'm the first to call the police! LOL Never ask me to bring food to an event because you will wish you never ate it! And don't think i ever feel bad i never had a girl because i don't think i would make a great mom to a daughter, I am already strict and it would be worse if i had a girl, ( I just know how i was as a kid LOL and know i would get paid back by having a girl ) All though i tend to make friends easy with younger Gals, I don't know why maybe it is my sparkling personality LOL

A similar thing happened with my husband with my son They said his recomend wasnt up to date and was not allowed to do it......

Maybe the ward is required to have a temple ready class and they don't have any non-sealed people... so they are asking those who are already sealed to fill the seats... They did that once with us for a Marriage class... we didn't need... we went and taught the teacher a few things... LOL ← I really think this new Bishop doesnt even know we had gone to the Temple. I think He is just assuming Since we werent that active for some time

The other night some one called my husband and asked us to take Temple classes...He could hear the Bishop in the back ground saying Make them give you a commitment! ......Ok well my husband and I were sealed in the temple ETC. I thought these classes were for Members who havent gone to the Temple, Any answers out there for me?
