I was talking to my bishop last Sunday, and I have always had a hard time fasting for some reason. He was telling me that although it is good to fast completely for 24 hours, if you forget and drink a glass of water or eat a piece of toast, that doesn't mean you're fast is over. You can say a prayer and continue your fast. Just thought I would add that in there.

Hello, I joined the church almost 7 years ago. I used to live in Utah, but now live in area not quite so mormon. I am the only member in my family. I've made some mistakes, but I am on the way in the right direction now. I joined this site because I think I need to have a place I can go and talk about the church sometimes, and I also still have a lot to learn about the church and a lot of questions.
