  1. My talk was about Perfecting the Saints. I looked on the LDS.org website to find the wording. With the new changes, this is harder than it use to be. I then took each element and broke it down. I ended up just talking about the covenant and ordinance of baptism without expounding on it. My talk was running long so had to shorten in, which always makes a talk better anyway.
  2. Welcome Shawn! It's a great religion!
  3. Hello, I am a single sister living in Arkansas. I happened across this forum doing a random Google search for a talk this coming Sunday. As I was passing by, I couldn't help but comment. I look forward to getting to know each of you! Sincerely, Sharon
  4. No relation at all. I was doing some quick research for a talk on Sunday and did a Google search and came across this topic by random luck. I just couldn't stop without a reply. I know I need to introduce myself in the proper way and I will. I was at work and was researching during a slow moment and didn't have time to linger too long.
  5. If you want to find the Baptismal covenant, you must read and study D&C 20: 37 D&C 20: 37 "And again, by way of commandment to the church concerning the manner of baptism—All those who humble themselves before God, and desire to be baptized, and come forth with broken hearts and contrite spirits, and witness before the church that they have truly repented of all their sins, and are willing to take upon them the name of Jesus Christ, having a determination to serve him to the end, and truly manifest by their works that they have received of the fSpirit of Christ unto the remission of their sins, shall be received by baptism into his church." This is the baptismal covenant that we renew when partaking the Sacrament.
