I was raised Christian (Baptist), and have looked deeply into a couple of other religions, but currently don't practice any (haven't for years). Still, religion continues to be one of my favorite subjects to learn about and discuss.

I signed up a long time ago but haven't used my account much. I'm a 30 year old female from the West Coast. I'm here because I have some extended Mormon family that I've recently gotten to know and I'm interested in learning more about their faith. I've always had great experiences with Mormons and find much of your religion extremely fascinating. I hope my username isn't too combative; I'm not here to argue, but rather as a nosy guest. :)

I'm curious about this. Does a church leader pray over the decision? Is it random?

Thank you; I never bothered to scroll that far down :) These angels are definitely different than the images of angels I remember seeing depicted when growing up (not LDS).
