  1. I used to do Yoga a lot. It's not only relaxing, but it can also give you a good stretch. I've noticed that I've become more limber and flexible after just 2 weeks of regular practice. It's also made my heart and mind calmer. :)

    Would love to try Pilates.

  2. Flaxseed and Licorice. :)

My brother used to suffer from unbearable joint pain but after trying out a bunch of herbal remedies, he has narrowed it down to these 2. Herbal supplements are OK, but be aware that you can experience side effects if you're not careful with the dosage. Practice extreme caution, especially if you have a heart condition.

  3. 1. Eat fresh vegetables and fruits salads.

    2. Avoid fast foods, junk foods, sweets, cold drink.

    3. Avoid, smoking.

    4. Monitor your heart and weight regularly.

    5. Avoid excess intake of salt which causes, water retention.

    6. Drink 4-7 glasses of water regularly.

    7. Avoid, late night food.

    8. Have your dinner 2-3 hours before going to bed.

    9. Replace coffee or tea with white tea or lemon tea.

this is a great list of DOABLE tips.

i personally can vouch for #6: drink 4-7 glasses of water everyday. dehydrating youself is one of the worst things you can do for your body.

  4. Hi, I need some tips to make my figure fit. I am working on computer from two months and for this reason I am being fatty day by day . cant get time to exercise and my only way to be fit is to have a balanced diet . I want to know which foods are responsible for being fatty . I should mention that here our national food is rice . and its making me fat I know that . Then how much rice should be taken to not to be fatty?

It really depends on the level of activity that you're getting everyday. carbohydrates are supposed to give you energy. if you're not using that up, then the body ends up storing the unused reserves into fat. the best way to keep your figure fit is to exercise regularly. Also, you need to be aware of your health problems, like for me, I'm still struggling with a cholesterol problem. I'm hoping to lower my bad cholesterol levels by making some crucial lifestyle changes like regular exercise and smarter food choices.

  5. Hydrogenated oils are all bad. Virgin Coconut oil is one of the healthiest oils. How it works? I'm not a scientist so I can't answer your question. I just know that the only thing he changed was adding the coconut oil and in less than 3 months his BP was back down in normal range.

    Stress didn't change either.

I'll definitely keep this in mind. Need to look for ways to lower the cholesterol. Thanks :)

  6. Olive Oil and Coconut Oil are different than other saturated fats. The body knows what to do with them. I have an article somewhere I'm trying to find but its not where I thought I bookmarked it so I'll have to do some searching.

My husband BP has gone down since he started the coconut oil. He puts it in his morning hot cocoa. I put it in my hot oatmeal.

I'm curious as to how coconut oil was able to lower your husband's BP. I always thought coconut oil was bad for someone trying to keep their Blood Pressure low.
