Here in Portland, Oregon gas is dropping under $4.00 all over the city.

My ward is shrinking. Everybody is moving out because the cost of living in my area is expensive. Missionary work in the area is going very slow.

Just recently I had a lesson about prayer. Someone said to picture Heavenly Father in the room with you and that you are talking to Him. It is has helped me with prayer.

Here is a website that is put out by the church. It says that Joseph Smith had 24 wives but note at the bottom that the information may not be accurate. This is the website that I first found out that he had this many wives.

I struggled with this for a little while myself. I asked my Bishop about it and he told me that Joseph married these women so he could care for them. Some the women were widows and needed support so Joseph took them under his care. Most of them did not live with him. After my Bishop told me this I did not worry about it anymore. He was just being a great Prophet and Priesthood holder.

You are right, you most likely won't be leaving on your misson for about 2 months after you get your mission call. It has been that way for a while now but there are a few cases where you will leave pretty quick after you get your call. Just remember that you must love the Lord more than anything so it shouldn't matter when you leave.

I saw it too and thought it was him but when I looked closer it was not him, just someone that looks quite a lot like Kirby.

I will watch basketball whenever it is on. But I will probably watch just about any of the events when I have the tv on.
