not dating alone. we always go with a group of kids. i think thats the reason they wouldn't let it happen. i think they misunderstood what was asked and thought we were going to be alone. the guys around here are pervs. she can go a date other people if she wants. it worked out though. i got invited to her house that night anyway and stayed the night (there was a really bad snow storm, so they just had me stay there). everything will work out i'm sure. as for who said highschool relationships aren't meant to work. thats not true. every relationship has a chance. don't get me wrong. i don't go around saying i'm going to marry this girl. we are dating. a big desicion can't really be made till i get back from my mission. thanks for your input. sorry this thing posted 4 times. each time i put it up for post it said error so i just kept trying to send it.

this isn't your normal girl trouble. here's the deal. i had made plans for a date. i had everything set up. we were suppost to go to my friends house and watch movies. all she had to do was ask her parents. they told her no. they said something about the standards and somethign how we shouldn't be steady dating. then they said they might make her go on at least 2 dates with other guys before she can go on one with me again. i mean. come on. we live in a small ward. i'm the i'm the only ym there over 16. who else is there. i can in a way understand her parents. they are people i really respect. but sometimes they seem to take things too far or inforce when it only makes things worse. i'm looking to see what you people thing about this whole thing. thank you

why don't we all just give up cause no one will win. liberals must deal with the fact that bush one. conservatives must deal with the fact that liberals will cry about this until a liberal is voted in or they find something else to cry about.

i disagree. i would rather live in a more lds populated area. i would still know how much faith i have just the same.

yeah, deepthinker. but remember. we are in the same stake. and to gimp, honestly it can be sometimes but not how you think. most of the kids at my school respect what i believe in. they don't down it. they have before but not a whole lot(they had a teachers help but thats besides the point). i've taken friends to church with me so that helps. and ppl ask me questions all the time so thats hard. but with no one else with my beliefs they don't see certain things wrong. i get invited to parties all the time. i have a girlfriend who is lds but goes to a different school, but same ward. i get asked if we've had sex all the time and ppl don't understand why i say "no, not until marrigge." but its fun. i don't get it that bad. maybe because i'm the only one everyone is curious. i actually have friends, and i know this sounds bad, who if they want to do something that would affect their driving they want me to come along to drive.

i'm from northwestern pennsylvania. and to make you feel all better, i'm the only lds kid in my school of about 500.

i think what we must all remember is that the election is over. bsuch one kerry lost. get over it. new subject. and for larry kozlowski, yes, we are relgious. thats why we are posting on a religous message board on a religious wesite made for other religious people to talk about things

i was really shy. i still am for the most part. but there was this girl i really liked. she was the kind of girl who wanted the guy to ask her. so i worked up the courage. so i guess i'm saying you just have to ask. don't hold back.

just like any other belief the church has, you're going to follow it only if you want to. so its up to you. but i don't think the church would agree. you won't go to hell because of it. but thinking up excuses like they won't get the money till monday doesn't help. but yet its nothing to worry about if you do. and you can always ask your bishop.
