I'm glad to hear that. I only hope that it's the Jesus of the Bible, and not the Jesus of Mormonism. The Jesus of Mormonism can't save you from your sins. Baptism isn't a requirement to be saved, or to go to heaven. It's an outward statement of an inward commitment. There will be people who've been baptized who will go to hell, being baptized isn't what saves you.

Have I been saved? YES!! I've accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord over my life. I should add that I'm a former Mormon.

I don't believe that Jesus was married. He knew what was going to happen to him. I don't think he would want to leave behind a wife and kids. Anyway that wasn't his purpose for coming here, his purpose on earth was much greater than any of us.
