so i heard this poem at a fireside i was at and really liked it, but can't seem to find it on the internet... can anyone help me? It goes through the entire alphabet (an acrostic poem) but i can only remember some of the phrases- A is for attitude which we all have K is for kisses and L is for love, both of which come from God up above T is for tithing which will help manage our dough Z is for Zenith with is the height we can reach (or something like that) I know this isn't word for word, but if someone recognizes it and can help me out it would be greatly appreciated!

here's a question...- is it awful to be dating a guy when he leaves on his mission? like, would it be better for him to break up before he leaves, or to just keep writing him while he's gone...

well i dunno if you're looking for fun or romantic but the funniest way I've ever been answered was with a toilet, and on the toilet seat they wrote "I Gotta Go"...... it was way cute. Or another way is to put hamburger buns in the back of a toy dump truck with a sign that says "I'd Love To Haul Your Buns To *insert dance name here*

oh ya so many people and groups get stereotyped all the time, which totally sucks. I kinda just laugh at the cheerleader one though because I know it is true for most cheerleaders- the thing is though, at our school, we don't just have the dumb and ditzy stereotype, its the slutty, sleeps with every guy on the football team, insane party girl thing too.... and that really sucks.

lol well i'm gonna venture out and say that i've been a cheerleader for 6 and a half years and i don't fit that!!!

haha i second that.... and i'm a girl.

so i got this book for Christmas yesterday, and started & finished it today (...i love reading...) it's called "In Your Place" by Rachel Ann Nunes. it was real, real good and I could completely relate to the girl's life. amazing. If you haven't read it, I strongly recommend it- i think my mom got it at Deseret Book. Guys probably wouldn't like it, but any older teenage girl would- it gets you thinking about marriage and stuff... Has anyone else read it????

well judging from your posts, if you write a letter, you should probably run it through spell check.... lol but i have to agree with Setheus (on a lot of points actually), but I would definitely say to actually call her parents- it shows more class and maturity, which is what you're trying to prove right?

well this is my opinion- your mom is just trying to keep you safe, whether you like it or not...i'm sure you've heard that. BUT i dunno about you, but where I live, theres really nothing to do after midnight.... everything's shut down, friends are all tired, and our city has a curfew that the cops enforce... so even though my parents let me stay out past midnight, i'm usually home by then because of lack of better things to do. If that's the case with you, just appease your mom- i'm sure she would appreciate that with her health situation. If you absolutely cannot bear being home by midnight, sit down with your dad and tell him why you feel the need to have an extended curfew. maybe he'd be willing to work something out with you and your mom, and it will be a good chance for you to just talk with your dad since he hasn't been living with you for awhile.

ya i did the behind-the-parents-back thing too.... probably not the best solution- is was just as rough on the guy i was dating as it was on me...

oh buddy.... you're letting a girl have too much control of you- don't let yourself get depressed. think of this as a learning time and a chance to meet a ton of other girls out there....if its meant to be, then you'll get back together with her. until then though, have a little fun because she will probably will be!
