Misshalfway Posted September 8, 2008 Report Share Posted September 8, 2008 OK...so I am watching the "Joseph Smith Papers" program on TV and they were explaining that there was orginally three temples planned for kirtland. One a temple/church house/school, one a printing center, and one a church office building where the prophet would administer the church affairs. They even showed the map of the city and where the projected buildings would have been built....right next to the Kirtland temple all in a row!
