easternee Posted October 17, 2004 Author Report Posted October 17, 2004 yes but I think that since it is just a school dance I think it is ok but I am not sure
Guest &lusername> Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 a school or church dance ain't a date so go for it. espacely if it is something like prom or homecoming
the_kid_in_the_korner Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 well it dont matter as long as ur not like makin out u are way to young, and rember there are going to be tons of guys in ur life so if u arent geting along with ur "bf" or whatever just bail its not a big deal its just pratice till ur ready to be in a relationship
gimpandproudofit Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 um i'm think the prophet said sumthing about if you're not old enough to go to stake dances, you shouldn't go to school ones either- i'm not sure tho.... anyways, if it even is a dance you're talking about i'll tell you this- they're overated! lol but then again, so is dating so don't rush it k?? haha
toto Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 I believe that dances should be considered a date. You are spending time with one person and sometimes you can get real caught up in the moment. All of the same temptations are there, it sounds like to much of a risk to go to a dance with one person. I try not to stay attached to one person because it messes with your emotions. Change dance partners alot, it's almost like what they say about dating. When you are young you really shouldn't be searching for that one person, and there is no point in making a commitment like that yet. Some of you might be thinking that it is no big deal, but trust me on this easternee, you will have much more fun just hanging out with everybody then one person. Just go have some fun. Getting caught up in stupid relationship stuff at this age is not a good idea. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, I'm just telling you from my own experience.
deepthinker Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 my dad's rule was that i could go to dances when i turned fourteen, but i couldn't go with a date (obviously that owuld only apply to school dances). it worked out well, cuz you have way more fun that way anyway.
