:D hello, I am 32 yrs old mom of one girl. I have been a member of the LDS church all my life. Currently I have been inactive for 2 years. I am excited to meet new people that maybe have been in my shoes, or not just looking for good friends.

Welcome.

I was inactive for quite some time until I began searching for Jesus in earnest. What made the difference for me was -- this time I actually wanted to find Him. All my life I had been raised to believe in Him, but had never questioned it for myself. This is crucial to having a relationship with Him. For He is Truth Embodied. That means that if we seek Him, He must respond to us in truthful ways. And we must be truthful as well if we really want to get to know Him. Which includes what we REALLY believe about Him apart from what other people tell us we should think.

Hi daisy...:)...welcome to the site.

I was "born" LDS, and I also went inactive for a period. Now, the second time around, it is because I choose to have the Gospel in my life. My testimony is mine, not just tradition or habit, but a true and strong knowledge of my own.

Often the detours we take while on this journey of life, is what makes us stronger. Heavenly Father never abandoned me, I just needed to find my way back to Him.
