At All Inappropriate?

so there's a missionary here. and i like him, a lot. and we are good friends, but not outside anything that the mission rules will allow. we don't seek each other out and our relationship is entirely appropriate.

but my question is this, would it be at all inappropriate to tell him that i'd like to write him when he gets off of his mission?

Not that I would think. After he's home from his mission he's fair game.

I would say the same thing: writing them, calling them, visiting them, etc., when they get off their mission is perfectly fine, just don't delve into that before the mission is through. Sadly, many Mormons look down on that sort of thing, but I know several perfectly happy and good couples that resulted from similar beginnings. Don't worry about what people think, and Good Luck!

Just don't be a distraction while he's trying to serve. That's the LAST thing he needs - even if he, himself, doesn't realize it.
