Palerider Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 This book is by Glen M. Leonard and I just finished reading it..I thought it was great and would recommend it to others. If you do buy it and read it then decide you don't like it....its not my fault. The book is awesome...talks about life in Nauvoo from start to finish....meaning from the very begining of the city to the end and them up to present day. I will now be reading ....The Papers of Joseph Smith...vol 1.....looking forward to this... Quote
FlaviusHambonius Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 Thanks for the heads up---sounds like a good one. I just got through the part in Mormon Enigma where the last few Mormons are defending the city Nauvoo against the Carthage Gray's after the bulk of the saints had crossed the Mississippi trecking westward. Very brave souls indeed. Quote
Palerider Posted January 10, 2009 Author Report Posted January 10, 2009 This book touches on that too....and covers the RLDS and the breakoff Quote
