From Mafia to Mormon

An easy book to read. It is obvious that the author is not well educated and lacks a Harvard vocabulary. My guess is that he dictated the book that was then heavily edited. It reads more like he is speaking at a fireside than it does a book. The book is a rather interesting insight into the dark world or organized crime. One message that I was impressed with is that regardless of where you are in life – the gospel of Jesus Christ can transform you from whatever you are to a saint and yet the individual personality still remains.

The book is simple and easy to read and but there is deep ideas that will allow any intellectual to ponder. It can be read in about an hour. I would recommend the book especially to youth.
