Dating Advice Prior to First Date, Please?

I have known about this girl for about six months. She is kinda shy but she's very lively around her close friends. I've only talked to her briefly a few times. Well, we crossed paths the other day and I said hi and she said hello. Then a few seconds later she asked me how I was doing and I said fine but failed to say something back and I was thinking in my head what an idiot I was for not saying something more as I was heading to my next class. Last week I contacted her on Facebook and asked for her phone number and if she was going to be around in April. She gave it to me and I asked her on a date later that night and she accepted. This girl is also about 8 years younger then me. The date is next Wednesday...

This is the first time I have asked a girl on a date that I don't know hardly. Usually I become acquainted first. So my question is what is the proper moves to be making up until the official night? Do I need to call her every couple days, text her or just wait until a few days before the date? Do I need to find a way to keep daily contact? That's what my brother says but I am not too sure about that? She going home for Easter... and she's also on Facebook. Any advice? haha!

The best thing you can do is not put a lot of importance on it. Talk to her every few days... keep other 'love' interests as well and stay busy.

Go somewhere with built in conversation... window shopping? I dunno.

Just relax and enjoy it... don't put your whole life on the line for this one woman you barely know - and don't let your emotions spazz out.
