After the Book of Mormon was published, however, archaeological discoveries were made that clearly indicate that horses were in the <st1:country-region w:st="on">Americas</st1:country-region> before <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Columbus</st1:place></st1:City> arrived.
