Sorry to hear you had such a "lovely" experience at BYU. I've heard multitudes of similar stories. Sounds like BYU is an ideal place to lose your testimony.

not so much lose, but if you don't have one going into that setting, you will definitely not gain one. If you are looking for bad stuff you will find it. And blaming BYU is just irresponsible.

Boy, I sure hope I'm not. :o Now I am going to have to ask him if that is him. :D:lol::blink:

No, I was asking Elinz if she knew this person because he is a ward (or stake) missionary for his ward (or stake) in Independence, MO, and that is where she said she was from. Since I really don't know how many LDS are in Independence, I just thought maybe she knew him.

He posts on the CoC board, sort of like how I post here. :P That is how I know him. (Or know of him.)

We just had a few weeks of nice warm sunny weather, and suddenly I heard today that we might get SNOW! It's almost freakin' June!!!

We had hail here a couple of days ago...a couple of states away...but hail none the less...

Utah, going on five years now. Four groups of people - 1) good LDS people (a minority, if any at all), 2) vain LDS people (blonde boob job dizzies, guys with shaved legs!), 3) nonLDS/inactive (good, bad, hicks, boys who talk like black rappers, and SLC intellectuals/artists/liberals), 4) ultra-conservative/neocon/LDS (oh it's all the same).

I fit into 3), being an inactive good guy. I hate 4), and I really hate 2), while it would be enlightening to meet 1).

Weather? winter is damn cold (30-), summer is damn hot (90+), with very little in between those two. Spring and Fall are virtually non-existant lasting about two weeks each.

Later.
