You are responsible for causing many problems here at LDSTALK. It's because of you that Please/Peace, a long time member of this board, left. Others here who are long time members stopped visiting because of the contention (which your faith teaches is of the Devil) you personally caused.

You were banned two months ago. And yet, violating the rules of LDSTALK, you have returned under a new name.

You are not setting a good example as a Latter-day Saint.

GO AWAY!

I told Aristotle that she could come back. If you have any problems with posts that have been made by her or her husband, please report them. So far no one has reported any of their posts, yet I continue to see posts harping on the past. So if she is willing to change her approach, I say lets give her a second chance.

I agree. I think Ari should be allowed to stay and post. Let's see how it goes.

By the way Ari, When I figured out that you were really Ari, why did you lie about it and claim that you were not?

Is lying justified in certain circumstances - what's your thinking on the matter?

How does moral relativism relate to Christianity and Mormonism?

For the record, Aristotle, my husband, joined this forum (using his email address, not mine). I, Mrs. Aristotle ("Mrs. A"), also post in this forum. It is customary to refer to people by their registered name. Since we post as a couple, please feel free to refer to us as "Aristotle", in order to avoid any further confusion.

Thanks,

That wasn't the question. The questions were:

I find it amazing how wrapped up people get in their online worlds....is it healthy for a screen name with its own opinions to cause you such grief that you think about it even away from the computer? Perhaps one needs to walk outside and make contact with a living breathing human being for a while to put things in perspective.

We should come to this board to exchange ideas and meld our minds, have a few laughs, discuss current events and doctrine....not place stock or put our emotions on the line. Not come out of left field with posts that are a direct and personal attack on any one member. I'm sure that the administrators are fully aware of who is on their boards *well maybe not since I've noticed a witch hunt of sorts for multiple accounts*, but none the less, take your jive to the Moderators and not to the open boards where it causes nothing but contention.

Love one another...

This isn't a question of multiple accounts. Ari only has one account - that I know of.

This is a question of morality. Ari makes a big deal about gospel principles. That fine, a lot of us do. Ari also lies or lied publically. She had a reason for doing so I am sure. That's what my questions are about - moral relativism. Is it alright to lie under certain circumstances.

It's a fair question brought on by public behavior on a religious message board. It's hardly a personal attack on her. I am not attaching evil to her dishonesty. I am asking for her to explain her justifications for it.

If you have thoughts on the importance or non-importance or even the relativity of morality, feel free to chime in, and if you don't like discussions of morality, feel free not to contribute.

Oh.

Yeah - I see your point but I am also a believer in Newton's Third Law of Physics: Every action has an opposite and equal reaction... and as you sew, so shall ye reap.

Most of us kinda get what we deserve on the internet. - Not always, there are folks that respond out of proportion to some perceived offense or inanity but mostly people get treated the way their behavior deserves to be treated.

So Aristotle is really the old Ari, the same one who tossed about the personal insults, including the particularly offensive one to me just before she was banned for such outrageous behavior? I had a suspicion about that, but wasn't entirely sure since she has toned down the nuttiness somewhat this time around. Or maybe those are her husbands posts? Well, I guess I can do a little forgiving even if there was no apology, but I will withhold the forgetting about that one for a while until she proves she can control herself and show that she can play well with others. :hmmm::hmmm::hmmm:

Heather, this is a mistake.

Further, she and her husband should have seperate accounts. It's like talking to the BORG or something.

As was posted a few days ago

"The board has a rule of one account per person. We are asking that if you have more than one account, you choose one and emails the other to us so we can delete them. If you are caught after Friday with more than one account you will be tempararily banned, If you have to be asked again your account will be deleted. The only people who need two accounts are trolls and hackers."

Since you are two people than I guess it's okay for you both to each have one. Maybe ask someone just to be sure.

If they want to share an account, I don't care. When you have one computer, it's kind of a pain to always be logging in as someone else. Maybe confusing for some of us, but at least they're not trying to hide it.

I'm closing this topic. If you have any problems, please use the report button. Lets all remember to be nice and talk nice. :)
