HoosierGuy Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Sounds like a man who was a true diplomat for peace for all people, all sides. Quote
trulykiwi Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Are you kidding this guy was part of the reason thousands of women and children died in Yugoslavia. Also he supported the Afghanistan war but on his deathbed he pleaded for someone to get our country out of this war. He was a globalist who was responsibly engaged in much corruption. Peace was just a disguise! Sorry to be so blunt!!! Quote
Just_A_Guy Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 "Our" country? I thought you were a New Zealander? Quote
trulykiwi Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 "Our" country?I thought you were a New Zealander?Yes..but I was quoting what he said and he is American :) Quote
Elphaba Posted December 21, 2010 Author Report Posted December 21, 2010 (edited) Yes..but I was quoting what he said and he is American :)Thus the word "quote" in quote marks. If you're going to quote someone, you should use them.Actually, Holbrooke didn't use the words "our country," so no, you weren't quoting him. What he said was "You've got to stop this war in Afghanistan."Elphaba Edited December 21, 2010 by Elphaba Quote
