MarginOfError Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 to me, this seems like the perfect time to do something a little different than what policy dictates. Normally, a child is baptized and confirmed on the same day. Since you've got the baptism thing squared away, do the confirmation on a different day when the ex won't be there, and then let your son choose who does the confirmation. That way, when the ex pitches his fit, it won't disrupt the ordinance. Quote
Jennarator Posted April 8, 2011 Author Report Posted April 8, 2011 Quick update. Baptism is tomorrow. My dad is doing both baptism & confirmation. My husband is going to be a witness and stand in the confirmation circle. Hope the ex has no issues with that. Now......hope I have enough food for the luncheon to follow..... Quote
