grow your own garden indoors

This topic may be of interest for people who have a large enough place, a barn or storage space that is not being use to grow hydroponic garden. Even then, a small space may work.

Take a look at one method of growing hydroponic. It is self maintaining other then the occasional of adding growing medium. It is also compact form of growing your veggies hydroponically.

Aquaponics is even better then hydroponics! Raise fish and grow plants at the same time.

Got a large 50 gallon container outside. Could put some fish in them then feed them. Would drain out some of the water into the garden and the ammonia water would turn to nitrates making the plants thrive. Its a idea and probably a good one. I would not use the tank to raise the fish to eat. To small.

I've grown tilapia indoors in 55 gal drums. It was our experimental aquaponics system (still working) Can't grow too many at a time, but they will do well enough to make it worth while.
