wait what? are you saying when we die we can create our own worlds? never heard of that, then again im not Mormon :P

its one of the critic hyperboles I get from time to time. It comes from logical reasoning: If an individual gains knowledge like unto God, and the ability to use it, like unto God, and that we are to do things like God has, and and at some point raise others under us up so that they can become perfect... THen it stands to reason that at some point an individual may create worlds, populate them, and be a steward over them in helping them obtain perfection... and will do that to bring Glory unto God the Father.

This really isn't written anywhere, but can be pulled out by logic, and there are those that believe it or some form of that. Some critics like to take that and hypersensationalise it to make it seem weird or to make it seem to be contradictory... but when you get down and study things it could fit quite well with the gospel without contradiction.

But either way you choose to believe really doesn't matter in this life, or is what makes or breaks joining the LDS (really is a very fringe thing that stems from some core concepts)

THe LDS believe that we are like God, and that if we are obedient to Him and Christ that we will be made partakers in their glory and works, Just like how Christ was exalted with God, so will Christs exalt those who are obedient to him... Not only does that mean after this life we will be resurrected as he was, not only will we be worshipping God like Christ has, but we will also be doing God's work, and learning God's will until we are perfected like how Christ is perfect.... Once we have that perfect knowledge of all things, God's going to expect us to use it for good. Now that may involve helping create planets, it may involve having to do angel work, it may involve all sorts of things. And quite frankly anything we can dream of is going to be small change compared to what the faithful and obedient are going to get, and are going to be able to do to glorify God.
