Dear Brs and Sis's,

Does anyone know this scripture? I read it in the temple and I have never been able to find it again. The scripture is in the form of a question and it asks something like, why are you afraid of the son of man when I, God, am so powerful? I would be most grateful if you know this scripture. I have gone through every index and cross-reference available and I can not find it!

Many thanks!:confused:

Couple of scriptures that came to mind D&C 122:9

9Therefore, hold on thy way, and the priesthood shall remain with thee; for their bounds are set, they cannot pass. Thy days are known, and thy years shall not be numbered less; therefore, fear not what man can do, for God shall be with you forever and ever.

D&C 98:14

14Therefore, be not afraid of your enemies, for I have decreed in my heart, saith the Lord, that I will prove you in all things, whether you will abide in my covenant, even unto death, that you may be found worthy

D&C3:7

7For, behold, you should not have feared man more than God. Although men set at naught the counsels of God, and despise his words—

Not exactly what you asked for, but as close as I can currently think of

Here's three that I found on lds.org doing a search with your references- afraid "son of man".

Ezekiel 2:6

6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

2 Nephi 8:12

12 I am he; yea, I am he that comforteth you. Behold, who art thou, that thou shouldst be afraid of man, who shall die, and of the son of man, who shall be made like unto grass?

Isaiah 51:12

12 I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;

Thanks so much. You found it! Obviously you are a better searcher than I am.

Thanks again!:P
