The New Testament is focused on the life and influence of the only man that came into mortality with dual citizenship in heaven and on earth. Our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ.

No better way to be a follower of the believers than our observance of the Sabbath Day.

Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.

Pattern of the Sabbath day must always contain worship.

Partaking of the Sacrament is the center of our Sabbath day observance.

As we consider the pattern of the Sabbath and the Sacrament in our lives there are three things the Lord requires of us:

1. To keep ourselves unspotted from the world.

2. To go to the house of prayer and offer up our Sacraments

3. To rest from our labors.

To keep ourselves unspotted from the world we need to avoid such worldly distractions and businesses and recreation facilities on the Sabbath day.

He desires us to dress appropriately.

When Sunday dress deteriorates to everyday attire, our attitudes and actions follow.

What does it mean to offer up our Sacraments to the Lord?

Confessing thy sins to the brethren and to the Lord.

We need to bring ourselves in harmony with the teachings of the Church and with our brethren and our sisters.

Taking the Sacrament, the covenant of our baptism is renewed.

In the latter days the adversary succeeds when we relax our commitment to the Savior.
