The Bishop of the ward is given the responsibility to care for those within his ward boundaries.

The Welfare Department of the church is inspired of God.

Temples are more than mortar and stone. They are filled with faith, fasting, trials and testimonies.

Temples are sanctified by sacrifice and service.

85% of church membership now lives within 200 miles of a temple.

Many have sacrificed much in the building of temples.

Your personal sacrifice could be setting aside time to attend the temple regularly.

If you have not yet been to a temple or are not currently temple worthy, the most important goal would be to work towards becoming temple worthy. Until you have done so you have not obtained everything the Church has to offer.
