They will reevaluate in September. So the Bishop asked the sisters to do a 40 day fast, one sister fasting every day for 40 days. My day is July 20th! Prayers welcome! Anyway just interesting to me the Bishop asked the sisters to fast. Must be he thinks we have a lot of faith and strength as we know we do!! Quote

Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; 18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. I have never heard of a fast singling out just the sisters. What would your bishop like to see happen because of this fast? What do you expect to happen? ect.ThanksMy understanding of fasting is a time where an individual goes without food or water for 24 hours and spends the day in prayer and supplication to Heavenly Father for things that we especially need. I believe its a way to be similar to the 40 day fast of old! It is also a way to humble ourselves before the Lord. If you ask me dumb time to evaluate attendance during the summer when everyone is on vacation! BUt alas I am not the authority in the area! Quote

He says maybe in a few years he'll get out of debt. I doubt it though his wife has very expensive taste and loves her credit card, I believe its her fifth child! Quote
