What does Hebrews 13:8 refer to?

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever

I understand it says Jesus has always been the same but in what sense is it talking about since he at least had to go through a physical change by growing up?

Does it mean Paul is telling the Hebrew saints, even though Christ is gone, died on the cross, we need to keep living the gospel that He taught, not go back to animal sacrifice or other parts of the law of Moses? He is the same person, same gospel, even though He was crucified and not physically there.

Personally, I don't think the scripture refers to any sort of physical change. I believe it refers to the fact that he has remained the same and will continue to do so in purpose, principles, and of course His love for each one us.

Making sure and that sounds about what I was thinking too.
