dcn10se Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 Just got back from an historical trip to Nauvoo and Carthage. Wow! I look forward to in depth research and conversation pertaining to the history of Joseph Smith. I have been an LDS member for 41 years. In addition to that, I have been a reader of the Urantia Book (which I also consider "scripture") for 26 years. Looking for LDS people who ALSO believe or study the Urantia Book. David Chilton Quote
HiJolly Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 Welcome. I read some from the Urantia Book but I didn't care for it. That was about 8 years ago. How do you handle the non-Jesus Christ parts? HiJolly Quote

rameumptom Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 I've been to Nauvoo several times, living just a few hours away. As for the Urrantia book, we recently had a thread on it here. I read it, and gave my opinions on it here:http://www.lds.net/forums/general-discussion/32245-urantia-book.html Quote
