Hello from Nampa, Idaho

Hello!

I am a 60 year old grandmother with a second marriage !13 yrs.) to a wonderful non-member. I have 5 children with their own families. My husband has 2 children with families. He is 62 and survived open heart surgery 5 years ago. He is an auto mechanic with a business on the property and is trying to retire. He builds replicas of jalopies driven in the 50's and 60's by his father and his father's friends. Once in awhile he is able to locate an original driver who is still living that drove one of the replicas:lol:. I am an RN working part-time in a nursing home and I love it, though it is hard on my body. I have tried to grow a garden despite the cold late spring and too much manure compost. I am experimenting with a green house and trying to grow the same plants in 3 different areas on the property, so if one fails, then another may be successful. My husband dug me a small deep potato and carrot cellar last year. For the first time we stored carrots and potatoes until spring without them freezing. The roof was a camper shell covered with dirt. I babysit one of the 19 grandchildren. He is 2 and into dinosaurs. I am waiting on a new calling, hoping to serve again in the nursery or the Primary.
