Jezebel2011 Posted February 15, 2012 Report Share Posted February 15, 2012 I took my Endowments in January. By four days before the appointed day the nerves kicked in. By the time I got through the Temple doors all signs of nervousness just vanished into thin air to be replaced by subdued excitement of the commitment I was about to make. Our Temple gave me a clear Temple Recommend Holder - even though I had already bought a fancy affair to be prepared. Don't worry about the Endowment process. You are led by the hand from the moment you arrive at the front door of the Temple to the moment you take your Endowments and afterwards too. My Escort had very little to do except to be with me by my side. It took all of the 90 minutes prep that they require to get through the various bits and pieces to get organised for the Endowment portion. You don't need to remember anything. I remember the Bishop saying to me that all I needed to really pay attention to was taking the Covenants. Actually I do remember most of the whole thing although not word for word, obviously.
