Good supplement book to read with BOM?

Can anyone advise on a good book or books to supplement my reading of the book of mormon? Preferably something from the online LDS store. It might give me a better understanding of what's going on.

Treasures from the Book of Mormon, volumes 1-4 by W. Cleon Skousen. Excellent workbooks/commentaries.

The absolute best commentary that I've ever read, and I've read A LOT of them, is by Brant Gardner. If you want to know what is going on from a spiritual, contextual, historical, archaeological, and geographical point of view, then this is the commentary for you.

Really helpful suggestions in this thread.

As an investigator itching to be ready for baptism, I have been devouring The Book of Mormon. I felt like I needed to read it all once over and then delve even further into it. Thus far, my greatest progress is made when I listen along with the mp3 available on lds.org.
