Dale Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 I just bought a new PS2 recently. I put up a bunch of items for it just in case it became hard to find replacement items. I love Resident Evil 4. I also enjoyed playing Gun. I liked The Matrix Path of Neo. Quote

john doe Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 I play PS2 with my son. Our favorites are Timesplitters(the first one, the second I don't much care for), the various Medal of Honor games, and the Smuggler's Run games. I would like to get a PS3 or Wii, but I have a hard time justifying the cost. Quote
jimradictis Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 Anyone into Everquest?Don't play games much myself (LDS talk takes up all my extra time:) but I know a number of people who are into that. They use this wierd language and all when talking about it..... :)I used to play EverQuest a couple of years ago. It is a very addictive game, I could play for 10+ hours a day trying to level my character of which was a Dark Elf Necromancer. It does come with it's own lingo and is a lot of fun but just occupied to much of my time. EverQuest is also known by many as EverCrack because a lot of people actually do become addicted to it if they are not careful. I now play World of Warcraft, a game similiar to Everquest but less time consuming. I'm an fantasy fan, even in my youth before we had higher quality video games my brothers and I would spend hours playing Dungeons & Dragons, Gamma World, Paladium Rifts, and many other paper and pen rpgs.. It was pretty cool that I found out after I was baptized that one of my favorite authors by the name of Tracy Hickman co-authored DragonLance was a devout Latter-day Saint and Dungeons & Dragons player. Yeah... I am a hopeless nerd. Quote
JcDean78 Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 neither my wife nor i are gamers, but are considering a ps2 and getting dance dance revolution...any suggestions? My wife and I enjoy it a lot. It is a great activity for a family, especially with lots of kids. While my wife and I are only working on our first child right now, we enjoyed the DDR game back when we were dating with all the other YSA's. We also love to play it with all of our brothers, sister, nieces, and nephews. Even my mother in law gave it a try which was very funny. As for other games, I am a gamer and ever work on a modification for an online game. I am also a member of an online gaming group that I helped found which has a couple other LDS members. Been into gaming since I was a wee lad. Most of the games I play these days are online such as the Battlefield series, Company of Heroes, and Call of Duty. My wife plays a bit too but she enjoys SIM type games or mystery puzzle games which put me to sleep half the time. lol. Anyway, I had been looking for some LDS forums and found this one which looks to be rather active. I plan to stick around and engage in the conversations. Quote
