mormonhistory Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 I'm trying to find some people with extensive knowledge about the historical church events that aren't commonly known. Trying to create a Mormon History Wiki at mormonhistory.com but really don't have the base group of historians to get it buzzing. Anyone? Bueller? Quote
skalenfehl Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 That's a pretty vague request. Have you read the six book series by B. H. Roberts, "A Comprehensive History of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints"? Might be a good start. There are probably already plenty of online sources and resources. Quote
Guest Doctrine Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 Is the site just about church history or is it about not very well known church history. Also I would read the joseph smith papers, I learned a lot of things about church history I never knew before, like the church use to have a debate class where they talked about the doctrines of the church and shared there opinions, but the brotheren got to exited so joseph stopped the class, then William smith got mad and beat joseph and some of the other brotheren up.
