MarsorBust Posted July 21, 2013 Report Posted July 21, 2013 Hey everyone,So I entered a NASA contest a few weeks ago. We had to write a haiku poem. The Top 3 poems will be put on the MAVEN orbiter leaving for Mars in a few months. I am currently holding the 3rd and final spot out of nearly 12,790 entries. I'm running out of resources for voting and so I am begging my fellow LDS members for help. Voting only takes 10 seconds, requires no registration, and is easy to share with others. You can only vote one time from a device. Some poems have people voting from the same device more than once and their poem votes get taken away. So please only vote once from your device. Here is the link:Going to Mars ยป Entry This is a direct link to my poem. It starts out "distant red planet". There is a reason for no punctuation and capitalization by the way. I always get a few questions about that so I figured I would answer before someone asked. lolThank you all so much! Quote
Ron65 Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 Congratulations for getting into the top five. I have only just joined this site, so was too late to vote for you. I find haiku quite a difficult format to write; I usually write in open form poetry. Quote
